This raw specimen has a distinct, well-terminated magenta Ruby crystal and includes a white marble and mica matrix highlighted by natural, metallic pyrite inclusions around the base. The Ruby piece has intense, bright neon pink fluorescence under a UV longwave blacklight.

Why It’s Special

• Rubies from the high-altitude, mountainous terrain of the Hunza Valley are mined completely by hand using traditional methods and are difficult to obtain
