This genuine Spectrolite polished crystal presents full-spectrum rainbow flashes and fine golden pink shimmers on the other side against a deep grey-black base - I'm lucky enough to obtain this piece so it is the only one available.

Spectrolite is a rare Labradorite variety found only in the Ylämaa region of Finland, recognised for its exceptionally vibrant full-spectrum flashes caused by the internal feldspar structure against a darker base material. The material was first identified in Finland during World War II while excavating defensive trenches, with its shifting colours often compared to the Aurora Borealis.

Labradorite and Moonstone are commonly mislabeled as Spectrolite due to its rarity, though genuine Spectrolite typically presents a much darker base with broader full-spectrum flashes appearing within a single stone, rather than isolated yellow, green or blue surface flash.
