Tourmaline is formed via the hydrothermal process where a mix of water and minerals fills cracks in hot magma. As the magma cools and hardens into rock. tourmaline is then found in large veins of the rock. Found in several countries including Brazil, Madagascar, Sri Lanka, Nigeria, Afghanistan and the US. However, each location has unique variations and colours
