Large Black Obsidian Arrowhead – 11cm

There are only 2 of these large Black Obsidian arrowheads with a deep glossy black surface and pronounced sharp edges. It has a substantial size that works well as a display piece while still showing the glass-like fracture patterns Obsidian is known for.

Obsidian is a natural volcanic glass formed when silica-rich lava cools rapidly before crystals have time to develop. Its characteristic curved, shell-like fractures create the sharp edges traditionally associated with knapped Obsidian tools and points.
