Ancient Orthoceras Fossil with Quartz Bowls - Morocco
These unique bowls (each sold separately) have fossilised Orthoceras (Orthoceratites), from nautiloid cephalopods with Quartz in granite. They are extinct ancestors of Ammonites and squid from over 400 million years ago - formed by glacial movements when rocks became stuck in mud and underwent high pressures which encased the Orthoceras
Approximate Measurements - 10cm - 12cm each
