Are your crystals natural?

Yes. We specialise in natural crystals and mineral specimens. If a product has been treated or enhanced, this will be stated in the product description whenever known.

How do I know your crystals are genuine?

Having collected crystals for over 15 years, from everyday specimens through to museum-quality minerals, we understand the importance of careful sourcing, accurate identification and honest descriptions. Our crystals are sourced through trusted Australian suppliers, and every listing is photographed individually so you know exactly what you're purchasing.

Do your crystals come with certificates of authenticity?

Most natural crystals are not supplied with certificates of authenticity. Authenticity is established through careful mineral identification, trusted sourcing and experience rather than documentation alone. Where supplier documentation is included with a specimen, this will be stated in the product description.

Can I request more photos before purchasing?

If you'd like to see a crystal from another angle or have a question about a particular piece, feel free to contact us before placing your order.

Do the colours look exactly the same in person?

We photograph our crystals as accurately as possible, however colours may vary slightly depending on your screen settings and lighting conditions.

Are the measurements exact?

Measurements are approximate and are taken individually for each crystal. Minor variations may occur.

Where are your crystals sourced from?

Our crystals are hand-sourced through trusted Australian suppliers. Rather than purchasing large quantities of the same material, we carefully select pieces based on their quality, appearance and overall condition.

We avoid using the term ethically sourced as it has no universal definition within the crystal industry. Instead, we focus on transparency, trusted suppliers and providing accurate information wherever possible.

Will this crystal be restocked?

Most of our mineral specimens are one-off pieces. While we occasionally source similar material, we cannot guarantee another crystal with the same size, colour, shape or formation will become available.

Where do your crystals come from?

Our crystals originate from many different countries depending on the mineral. Whenever the locality is known, we include it in the product description as many collectors appreciate knowing where a specimen was found.

Why is the locality important?

Our pricing reflects the quality of the material, rarity, sourcing costs and where applicable, the craftsmanship involved in creating handcrafted jewellery. We aim to offer genuine crystals at fair and considered prices.

How should I clean my crystals?

Most crystals can be dusted with a soft brush or microfibre cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals unless you're certain the mineral is suitable.

Can crystals go in water?

Not always. Some minerals can dissolve, rust or become damaged when exposed to water.

Can crystals fade in sunlight?

Yes. Some minerals, including amethyst and rose quartz, can gradually fade after prolonged exposure to direct sunlight.

How should I store my crystals?

Store crystals somewhere dry and away from prolonged direct sunlight. Softer minerals are best stored separately to reduce scratching.

Can crystals scratch each other?

Yes. Some minerals are much harder than others and can scratch softer crystals if stored together.

Are crystals fragile?

Some minerals are extremely durable, while others can chip or break quite easily. Handle delicate specimens with care, particularly those with fine crystal formations.

Orders & Shipping

How often do you add new crystals?

New crystals, mineral specimens and jewellery are added every few days depending on sourcing and availability.

Can I combine shipping across multiple orders?

Yes. If you'd like to purchase multiple items over several days, use the code OPENBOX at checkout after paying shipping on your first order.

When your parcel is ready to be sent, we'll combine your orders into one shipment. If the combined order value is over $95, your original shipping cost will be automatically refunded to your original payment method.

How long does shipping take?

Orders are generally dispatched within 3–4 business days.

Once your parcel has been lodged with Australia Post, you'll receive a tracking email. If you haven't received it after this timeframe, please check your spam or junk folder.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes. We ship both within Australia and internationally. Available shipping options are displayed during checkout.

How are crystals packaged?

Every order is packed carefully using protective packaging to help ensure it arrives safely. Delicate specimens are wrapped individually using tissue paper, bubble wrap and biodegradable packing peanuts where required.

Can I change or cancel my order?

If your order hasn't been packed yet, please contact us as soon as possible. We'll do our best to help.
