Black Stalactitic Chalcedony with Apophyllite Crystal Specimen

This specimen has dark stalactitic chalcedony with a central diamond cube-like apophyllite crystal. The elongated cylindrical growths remind me of tentacles and are much less common than the rounded botryoidal formations more typically seen in black chalcedony.

Sourced from the Deccan Traps in Maharashtra, India - a region famous for producing high-grade zeolites and chalcedony formations.
