This unique Sunstone heart has black Tourmaline and Smoky Quartz on both sides and amazing rainbow flashes - Sunstone is different from Goldstone which is man-made but advertised as similar crystals. Quality sunstone with vibrant orange/red colours are found in Oregon, Tanzania and a few other locations.
Sunstone like Moonstone is a rare feldspar produced from volcanic lava. The unique iridescence and trichroic properties as they contain several minerals including copper, goethite, hematite and pyrite. Tourmaline and Smoky Quartz are also seen through the palm stone
