This natural rare Dioptase specimen has an intense emerald colour with numerous rhombohedral formations with complete crystals and no rock matrix.
Conditions need to be dry where Copper Sulfide is found and after a very long period, minimal silica quantities may react with dissolved copper to form Dioptase as well as Chrysocolla - also only found in a few locations including Kazakhstan, Namibia, Russia and the DR Congo.
